With a noble motto, to show, to guide and to direct young minds, a definitive and deliberate effort was initiated by DLC in the year 1999. It was felt that, a scientific and creative approach to basic learning skills was the need of the day.

Freshly graduated with innovative ideas, the  intentions were to focus on all round development, especially to influence the childs emotional, social, motor and
Cognitive faculties.

The founders set about to bring a radical change in approach towards the initiation of early child education. The success of the path was the enormous response by way of admissions and tacit acknowledgments from the parents of the child.

With the advent of new age professions and the pace of technological advances, it brought about higher level of work pressures. This subsequently made behavioral changes the parent - child relationships with serious psychological repercussions.

It was now strongly felt by DLC to start a new vertical catering to this very urgent need. Not to leave any stone unturned, the founders completed their graduation from India,s most premier institute - dynana probhidhini. Disha counselling started with its concentration on remedial teaching, especially in languages.

This pioneering effort was directed towards children having difficulty in learning or lacking the ability to cope up with the prescribed syllabus.

Dlc not only carried the one on one approach with the students but also conducted various workshops with parents to assimilate and understand the various issues associated with learning challenges.

The rich and commanding  experience in language enhancing skills, DLC was commended by various institutions and invited to conduct courses on their premises.

In 2009, IEindia approached DLC to coordinate the effort for their exchange students to learn Hindi in India.

2009 saw the first batch of students visiting india and successfully completing .........

Similarly, 2010 also experienced. Course bettered in terms of content and response.

The success of DLC can be seen from the very positive and warm response received from the host families, students and IE india coordinators.

DLC remains committed in its endeavor to continuously improve on it teaching techniques towards implementation of innovative educational standards and benchmarks.
